Senior Front-End Developer

The Role
As a Senior Front-End Developer at Fospertise, you'll turn complex operational data - live fleet positions, dispatch queues, booking flows, aftersales workflows - into interfaces that are fast, clear, and genuinely usable under real operational pressure. Our clients' teams rely on these interfaces to make time-sensitive decisions, so pixel-perfect design has to hold up alongside real-time performance.
You'll own front-end architecture decisions on data-dense, high-stakes platforms, working closely with backend, design, and domain teams to deliver outstanding user experience end to end.
What You'll Do
- Build responsive, high-performance interfaces for dashboards, booking platforms, and customer-facing portals
- Translate complex operational data - real-time tracking, fleet status, analytics - into clear, intuitive interfaces
- Collaborate with backend and design teams to deliver seamless, end-to-end user experiences
- Own front-end architecture decisions: component structure, state management, and performance optimisation
- Ensure UX quality across accessibility, responsiveness, and performance on every device
- Review code and mentor other front-end engineers
What We're Looking For
Must-Haves
- 5+ years of experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular)
- Strong CSS and responsive design skills, with an eye for detail and UX craft
- Experience with state management (Redux, Vuex, or equivalent)
- Experience integrating with REST or GraphQL APIs
- Performance-minded approach to front-end architecture
- Testing experience (Jest, Cypress, or equivalent)
Nice to Have
- Experience building data-heavy dashboards or real-time data visualisation - live maps, tracking, charts
- Experience building for transport, logistics, or mobility platforms
