The Role
As a Senior Flutter Developer at Fospertise, you'll build the mobile applications that drivers, passengers, and fleet managers rely on every day - apps that need to work reliably in the field, not just in a demo. Think real-time GPS tracking, offline-first behaviour, and performance that holds up under real operational conditions.
You'll design clean architecture and state management patterns for a codebase built to scale, working closely with backend and API teams to ensure seamless integration across platforms.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain cross-platform mobile applications - driver apps, passenger apps, fleet management tools - using Flutter/Dart
- Design clean architecture and state management patterns for a scalable, maintainable codebase
- Integrate real-time GPS tracking, push notifications, and offline-first capabilities
- Collaborate with backend and API teams for seamless, reliable integration
- Optimise app performance, battery usage, and reliability for real-world field conditions
- Ensure releases meet App Store and Play Store standards, with CI/CD pipelines supporting fast, reliable shipping
What We're Looking For
Must-Haves
- 5+ years of mobile development experience, including 3+ years working with Flutter and Dart
- Strong understanding of state management approaches (BLoC, Provider, or Riverpod)
- Experience with native platform integrations (iOS and Android channels)
- Experience working with REST APIs and real-time data (WebSockets)
- Track record of published apps in the App Store and/or Google Play
- Strong debugging and performance optimisation skills
Nice to Have
- Experience building location-based or GPS-heavy applications
- Experience building driver, delivery, or logistics-focused mobile apps
