Quality Assurance Engineer
Be the last line of defence for systems where failure has real operational consequences.
The Role
As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Fospertise, you'll be the last line of defence for systems where failure has real operational consequences - a bug in a dispatch platform isn't an inconvenience, it's a fleet that doesn't move. You'll design test strategies for complex, integration-heavy systems and build the automation frameworks that keep our platforms reliable as they scale.
You'll work across real-time tracking, booking, and dispatch systems, validating multi-party integrations that span GPS providers, third-party APIs, and legacy infrastructure - the kind of complexity that demands rigorous, systematic testing.
What You'll Do
- Design and execute test strategies for complex, integration-heavy systems - real-time tracking, booking, dispatch
- Build and maintain automated test frameworks across UI, API, and regression testing
- Conduct performance and load testing for high-throughput, real-time platforms
- Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with engineering to resolve them
- Validate multi-party integrations - GPS providers, third-party APIs, legacy systems
- Contribute to QA best practices and the continuous improvement of testing processes
What We're Looking For
Must-Haves
- 4+ years of QA experience with a strong automation background
- Experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Postman/API testing)
- Experience testing APIs, integrations, and complex distributed systems
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into them
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail
Nice to Have
- Experience testing real-time, IoT, or GPS-based systems
- Experience with performance or load testing tools (JMeter, k6)
- Background in transport, logistics, or automotive software testing
Why Join Fospertise
Work on Systems That Matter
You won't be building another internal tool. You'll be building the AI, real-time tracking, and cloud infrastructure that keeps buses running, fleets moving, and vehicles connected - where downtime is never just a technical problem.
Intelligence-Led Engineering
We invest in understanding the operational problem before we write code. You'll work alongside domain specialists who understand transport and automotive from the inside, not just product managers relaying requirements.
Complexity as Advantage
We take on the integrations, edge cases, and legacy systems that most teams avoid. It's the kind of work that sharpens engineers rather than wearing them down.
A Global, High-Calibre Team
Join engineers and domain specialists from leading universities across Asia and Europe, united by one mission - solving the hardest operational problems in transport and automotive.
Remote-First, Outcome-Focused
We hire for capability and hold ourselves accountable to outcomes, not hours logged. Work from wherever you do your best work.
End-to-End Ownership
From strategy through build, deployment, and 24/7 support, you'll see your work running in production - inside mission-critical operations, not shelved after handoff.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this role fully remote?
Yes. This is a remote, full-time position, with overlap expected for team collaboration.
Is this a manual or automation-focused QA role?
It's automation-first. You'll build and maintain automated frameworks as the backbone of our testing strategy, alongside targeted manual and exploratory testing where it matters most.
What does the interview process look like?
A technical screening conversation, a practical testing or automation exercise, and a final conversation with the engineering team.
Ready to Build Technology That Moves the World?
If you want your engineering to mean something beyond the codebase - to run inside the systems that keep fleets moving, vehicles connected, and operations live 24/7 - we want to hear from you.
